Robert was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia.  After attending high school at Benedictine, Robert attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA where he majored in business administration with a minor concentration in economics.  Robert worked in banking, mortgage lending and accounting industries after college and before attending law school at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law.  After law school, Robert returned to Savannah and entered the private practice of law.

  Robert maintains a wide-ranging transactional and corporate practice in the general representation of businesses and individuals across all aspects of their daily legal affairs.  Robert also maintains an active real estate practice, in which he represents lending institutions and borrowers in all aspects of both commercial and residential real estate transactions, including closings, sales, acquisitions, zoning and land use and leasing.  Throughout his more than seventeen years in active practice, Robert has also regularly assisted clients with their estate planning and probate needs.  Aside form Robert’s extensive transactional clients, Robert also has broad experience representing clients in civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, commercial disputes and individual matters.

Robert is most proud of the clients he has had the honor of serving, representing Savannah and Georgia’s most respected leaders and businesses.
